Belize: Capacity building for TVET centres and implementation of a professional development training programme
Together with GFA Consulting Group (lead company) and the University of the West Indies sequa will implement the following EU service contract in Belize funded by the European Commission under the BAM programme. sequa´s application for the Erasmus+ Programme has been granted by the National Agency Education for Europe on behalf of the EU Commission. For the mobility of trainees (programme part SINDBAD and TRANSDUAL) 406 mobility flows will be provided to trainees, enabling them to build up and enhance language and job related skills on a European level. In addition 70 mobility flows are available for VET professionals as part of the move-it programme. This programme offers VET professionals the opportunity to exchange experience with partners in other European Member states, as well as personal and organisational development.
The Polish company Teamdress Drawa Sp. z o.o. is a producer of high-quality protective workwear across Europe. At the beginning of 2016 Teamdress Drawa entered into cooperation with a Ukrainian company Debetex and has relocated a part of its production to Ukraine. In doing so, Teamdress Drawa is dependent on local qualified skilled workers, who are able to ensure a high-quality production of the workwear in order to meet the demand of European consumers. In Ukraine, however, it is a great challenge to find qualified specialists. Therefore Teamdress Drawa is very interested in offering training seminars for local specialists.
