Especially the German SME’s are an important partner in the development policy, as sustainable development requires economic engagement.

The mutual benefits form the basis of the activities. It is not just about funding, but rather about building long-term cooperation and creation of synergies and growth in the partner countries as well as in Germany.

SME’s  provide important inputs for the cooperation with developing countries as they provide extensive know-how in areas such as renewable energy, environmental technology and logistics and have a strong focus on foreign trade.
