Visit to project of Robert Bosch Foundation in Bukarest

On 15.05.2006 representatives of Robert Bosch Foundation convinced themselves of the success of the project "Vocational training as initial aid" in Bukarest. Since August 2004 the project has been funded by the Foundation via SEQUA. Managed by Koblenz Chamber of Skilled Crafts young disadvantaged persons get vocational training including pedagogical supervision at the private vocational school of "Spiru Haret". Presently, 47 young people are trained in the professions of motor mechanic, optician, cook and mechatronics. From the next school year onwards additional participants will take up their training in the building trade. The project will run until the end of 2009.
