Since November 2011, sequa is implementing a project within the GIZ programme „Reform of the national Quality Infrastructure in Ethiopia”. Among the main components are Awarness-raising activities for the need and possibilities on how to improve National Quality Infrastructure through i.e. Study Tours or provision of short term experts.

Since June 2012 the enterprise Eurotex S.A. has been engaged in a two-year develoPPP.de project for the implementation of modern practical training and further education activities at the technical college for textile technology. Eurotex S.A. is cooperating with various textile companies from eponymous free-trade area in the Dominican Republic.

In a develoPPP.de project (2012-2014) the German Sunset-Energietechnik GmbH supports the establishment of a competence center for photovoltaic at the national VET "Centre Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA)" in Colombia. The centre will not only be used for training and further education. It will also serve as research and model facility for Colombian decision-makers from the energy sector.

In a two-year developpp.de project the international operating company aluplast started, in August 2012, a know-how transfer on PVC window profiles in Veracruz, Mexico. The following measures are planned:

• Training courses for assemblers and window installers on the installation of plastic windows
• Identification and training of multiplers on energy efficiency
• Qualification chemes for students and teachers in energy efficiency techniques in buildings
