sequa has been commissioned by the European Commission to implement the ARCHIPELAGO programme in cooperation with its partners EUROCHAMBRES (Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and CPCCAF (Association of French-speaking Chambers in Africa and Europe).
ARCHIPELAGO is a vocational training programme aimed at strengthening the employability of the workforce and the entrepreneurial capacity of MSMEs in the 12 target countries of the Sahel and Chad region (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Chad).
The programme will organise 2 to 3 Calls for Proposals to select, support and finance relevant partnership projects that contribute to the programme objective. Each partnership project will last between 20 and 32 months and have a budget of between EUR 400,000 and EUR 600,000.The first call is expected in the first quarter of 2019.
ARCHIPELAGO's kick-off event will take place on December 10th, 2018 in Dakar/Senegal to which representatives of the German private sector’s business associations are cordially invited to strengthen their network and develop project ideas.
