Federal Minister informs herself about sequa project

The Federal Minister Svenja Schulze met for a working discussion with the Kreishandwerkerschaft (KH) Steinfurt-Warendorf. On this occasion, she informed herself about the international projects that the KH is currently carrying out together with sequa in Jordan, Mozambique and South Africa.

Federal Minister Svenja Schulze (SPD) visited the Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt-Warendorf (KH) to see the vocational training partnership project supported by the Ministry for Development and Economic Cooperation. In doing so, she showed her enthusiasm for the project: "The fact that high-quality domestic craft training is taken out into the world and a lively exchange takes place there is a central element of functioning economic cooperation across the borders of the European continent."

The minister met with General Manager Frank Tischner and District Trade Master Heinz-Bernd Lohmann for a working discussion in which the work of the Kreishandwerkerschaft in Jordan, South Africa and Mozambique was explained to her. Tischner explained the importance he attaches to the project: "It is important to us that we are partners on the ground. On an equal footing and together, we want to improve the importance and quality of vocational training and give young people a future."
