With the second phase of the Business Membership Organisation Partnerships (BMO) started in December 2025, Naturland sends a clear signal in support of sustainable development and European values in Georgia. The project aims to support selected agricultural associations in systematically promoting and anchoring organic agriculture and fair trade.

The focus is on practical training and advisory services for farmers, support for conversion and certification processes and measures to reduce pesticide use through sustainable farming practices. At the same time, the organisational and economic capacities of the partner associations are strengthened to enable them to offer these services independently and on a long-term basis.

In addition, the project promotes national and international marketing networks and facilitates access to European markets. In this way, the project not only improves income opportunities and competitiveness, but also strengthens civil society actors and demonstrates the tangible benefits of an EU-oriented development path for rural areas. The BMO is carried out within the framework of Partners in Transformation, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
