This is to be made possible through demand-oriented and flexible further training offers at LOST and, if necessary, other organizations, so that young people can find employment in as short a time as possible - with the involvement of the local economy. Within the framework of the 2nd phase, a cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture Zahle & Bekaa (CCZIA) will take place, which is to support the job placement of the training participants. For the labor market integration, activities are carried out in the three areas of 1.) Profiling, 2.) training and 3.) job placement.

Lebanon: Target group-specific employment promotion
At the beginning of November 2023, the 2nd phase of the vocational training partnership between Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) gGmbH and the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) started in the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon. The project aims to reduce tensions between different job-seeking ethnic, regional and religious Lebanese and Syrian groups by improving employment opportunities.
