In cooperation with the Ukrainian Automotive Mobility Cluster (UAMC), sequa gGmbH organised an exhibition stand at the IAA Mobility in Munich. A total of more than 1,500 international exhibitors presented the latest innovations and trends in the automotive industry to around 500,000 visitors. The eight SME companies from Ukraine thus had the opportunity to network with leading car manufacturers, technology companies and industry experts from all over the world. From electric mobility to autonomous driving and sustainable mobility solutions, the IAA 2023 offered a comprehensive insight into the future of mobility.
The stand aroused great interest not only among representatives from the business community. Hildegard Müller (President of VDA) and Julia Klöckner MdB (Spokesperson for Economic Policy of CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group) also informed themselves about the situation in Ukraine.
Despite the current very challenging situation, the companies from Ukraine are able to deliver and keep up in the international market. Ukraine thus remains an important centre for the supplier sector. Years of experience, well-trained specialists and the proximity to the European domestic market are decisive advantages of the location.
Mr. Yuriy Yarmilko (Consul General of Ukraine in Munich), Ms. Angela Mans (Head of the Foreign Trade Department in the VDA) and Mr. Ralf Lowack (Head of Components in the GIZ project) were present at the opening of the stand to welcome the Ukrainian co-exhibitors and partners from the German automotive industry together with Olga Trofymova (Manager of the Ukrainian Automotive Cluster).
The trade fair appearance was made possible by a project financed by Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
