Uzbekistan: Strengthening the Chamber of Commerce and Industry

In September 2022 the Bildungswerk der sächsischen Wirtschaft in Dresden launched the Chamber Partnership Project with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCIU). The aim of the project is to strengthen the CCIU and its regional chambers in their function as service providers and stakeholders for companies in order to increase the competitiveness of Uzbek SMEs. The project focuses on strategy development for the CCIU, the structural integration of the regional chambers in decision-making processes of the CCIU and the modernisation of the services offered by the CCIU to its member companies. The project is led by a German long-term expert on site and is financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
