BMO-Support in Togo

In the frame of the project, the management and the structure of selected Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) will be professionalized in order for them to be able to support the remaining layers in the Togolese chamber and association landscape and pass on their knowledge through new services. At the same time, single chambers and associations to specifically reach selected sectors and regions are to be supported to build overall capacity. As a result, the Public Private Dialogue should benefit from an improved quality due to BMOs being better equipped to prepare plaidoyers and this should lead to an improvement of the business environment. Eventually, also the overall SME ecosystem will benefit from the new services offered by the BMOs which, if implemented properly, also promote women-led companies and break the cycle of neglect.
