Economy of Love (EoL)

The "Economy of Love" (EoL) project between the Bayrisches Bildungswerk (bbw) and the Egyptian Bio-dynamic Association (EBDA) is aiming for a sharp increase in EoL-certified farms in Egypt. This holistic certification for sustainable agriculture, developed in 2021 in the "Organic Egypt" project, sets a variety of ecological and social standards adapted to the local market. Farmers receive an additional incentive when converting from conventional to organic farming through the sale of CO2 certificates via EBDA from the emissions saved.
