Development of the mining sector in Mozambique

The project aims to empower the CCM to better represent and support SMEs and miners, thereby promoting safety, occupational health and environmental protection in the Mozambican mining industry. This enables SMEs to strengthen their market position and create better quality jobs or safeguard existing jobs. The improved framework conditions also contribute to a more ecologically sustainable and socially equitable mining sector. Increased social equality also contributes to conflict prevention in the country.
