Vocational Education Promotion in Ukraine
The project contributes to the promotion of vocational training, sustainable economic development and support for small and medium-sized enterprises in the regions of Lviv, Volynia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil in Ukraine. The aim is to establish vocational training with dual elements as an educational pathway in the local vocational schools in four project regions in western Ukraine. Specifically, the plan is to align the curricula and syllabuses in selected professions with a practical orientation and to anchor additional modules, such as skills assessment, career guidance and self-employment counselling at the partner schools. Cooperation between vocational schools, companies and other stakeholders in vocational education and training is to be systematised and used to disseminate dual elements.
