In July 2021, the Bildungswerk der sächsischen Wirtschaft (bsw) started a small-scale measure with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan to develop practical qualification courses incl. business start-up seminars for companies and school graduates. Through the cooperation with bsw, the Chamber of Uzbekistan expects an expansion of its competences in the field of vocational education and training, a stronger systematic integration of the private sector in Uzbekistan's vocational education and training, as well as a systematised development of demand-oriented services for SMEs.
The small-scale measure is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa.
