Vocational Training Promotion in Albania
In workshops and seminars as well as through the allocations of materials a know-how transfer to the local project partners will take place. In a first impact phase, a baseline study will be carried out. The baseline study serves to specify the intervention measures more precisely and will be used as a basis for detailed planning and monitoring of the project. In a second line of action, training and further education will be introduced to modern standards for the benefit of trainees. The input will be used to adapt curricula and determine the qualification needs of the companies. At the same time, the school management learns management methods that are applied in the school administration. The trainers can take up new contents and methods of the training courses in their lessons. The project aims to raise awareness and enable the school to ensure a regular and systematic exchange of information between school supervisors, the companies, the municipality and the graduates. The demand for vocational training at the vocational school "Shën Jozefi Punëtor" should increase due to the higher quality of its training offer and should be regarded by the school supervisors, the companies, the municipality and the graduates as exemplary for vocational school training in Albania as a whole.
