Dual vocational training in Ecuador

Building on the six-year BBP of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) in Ecuador, the Reutlingen Chamber of Industry and Commerce is implementing a short measure for dual vocational training in cooperation with three chambers of industry, three trade associations and SENESCYT, the state partner responsible for vocational training. The aim of the short measure is to institutionalise a public-private committee for dual vocational education and training, to finally define and apply uniform quality criteria for dual vocational education and training in the country and to develop a sustainable business model for the Corporación Formados, an organisation that was founded in 2018 within the framework of the previous BBP. The Corporación Formados unites all chambers and associations involved in dual vocational training and plans to offer consulting services for chambers, associations and training companies in the dual vocational training field in the future.
