KVP Georgia - Naturland
The Chamber and Association Partnership (KVP) project implemented by Naturland aims to support selected agricultural associations in Georgia in promoting and strengthening organic farming and fair trade. The core of the project is the development and institutionalisation of practical training, advisory and certification services for farmers in five key product areas, alongside the reduction of pesticide use through sustainable farming practices. In parallel, the partner associations ELKANA and GFA are organisationally and financially strengthened through the professionalisation of their service portfolios, the development of income-generating models and the expansion of national and international marketing networks. By aligning agricultural production with national and European standards, the project improves income opportunities in rural areas, enhances the competitiveness of Georgian agricultural products and demonstrates to local partners the tangible added value of an EU-oriented development path.
