25 years ago, our founding fathers stated in our Articles of Incorporation: “The company shall support developing countries …. in building their effective private business sectors, especially by establishing and enhancing small and medium-sized companies and business membership organisations as well as by contributing to develop appropriate legal and economic framework conditions.”
sequa shall design, plan and implement education, qualification, skill development and consulting measures and shall promote partnerships between German and international chambers, business membership organisations and other self-governing bodies of the private business sector.
The Chambers and Business Associations Partnership Programme (KVP) and the VET Partnership Programme are the essence of our brand. All other our activities have their origin in these two programmes.
We, and more than 70 German business membership organisations who are playing an active role in implementing their projects under the umbrella of the two programmes are pleased about the fact that a study of 2010 resulted in testifying KVP to be sustainable and of high relevance:
The programme is “a highly appropriate instrument to bundle the interest, competences and potential influence of the private sector’s business associations” and to make use of them to work on global questions.”
