Through the engagement in the partnership project, VDA showcases his believe that only the creation of suitable conditions for private investment within an organised African automotive sector will enable a swift and effective economic development, the unlocking of industrialisation potential and the tapping of new African markets.

VDA will use its expertise as an experienced and long-standing association to support AAAM in the development of internal structures and its membership base. Together, both associations strive to support target countries of the Special Initiative, in particular Ghana, in the creation of a conducive business environment for the automotive sector. With the joint project, VDA and AAAM are pursuing the goal of creating improved conditions for a flourishing automotive industry and sustainable mobility solutions on the African continent in order to enable companies to participate in market growth, to create jobs and career development opportunities, and to increase welfare in Africa.
