The participation in this high-level network meeting in Berlin was the final event in a series of accompanying steps and training measures to support girls and young women from Uganda and Tanzania in the development of their start-ups. As part of the "She Techs the Future" project implemented by Ugandan company StartHub Africa, 20 female founders from two countries had the opportunity to develop their digital business ideas supported by targeted networking. The project was implemented as part of the Business Scout Fund by sequa on behalf of GIZ's Business Scouts for Development program with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Business Scout Fund brings African female tech entrepreneur to Berlin
The founder of Ugandan company Kolaborate Platforms, Pearl D. Gakazi, supported by the Business Scout Fund's "She Techs the Future" project, spoke at the Women's Business Roundtable of the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Agency for Business and Economic Development (AWE) about the link between new technologies and economic development in Africa.
