Colombia: Strengthening the Green Hydrogen Economy

Since December 2024, the BDI, in collaboration with the Hydrogen Chamber of ANDI, has been implementing a BMO partnership in Colombia. The project aims to support companies in Colombia, particularly in Valle del Cauca, Bolívar and Atlántico, in the field of green hydrogen and its derivatives. The initiative seeks to develop and professionalise the competencies of the Hydrogen Chamber of ANDI in green hydrogen by expanding the information and service offerings for its member companies. Additionally, the chamber is being enabled to support green hydrogen pilot projects in development, focusing on the creation of value chains. A special emphasis is also placed on international exchange, particularly between German and Colombian companies and experts. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development as part of the Partners in Transformation programme.
