Within the framework of the project, the Ghanaian partners Association of Ghana Industries and the technical university KNUST are to be enabled through organizational development measures to offer new and innovative training and further education courses on the subject of sustainability and "green" production for industrial companies and their employees as well as students. For this purpose, e-learning methods will be used, which will complement existing study programs at KNUST and expand AGI's service portfolio. It is planned that the trained employees and students will implement smaller projects in companies, which should directly contribute to the implementation of the learned skills as well as generate positive sustainability effects. This is supported by a network (or cluster) of companies in Ghana, which works on the topics of environment and sustainability - analogous to the "Plattform Umwelttechnik" in Germany initiated by UBW. The project is funded by the Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) within the framework of the PartnerAfrica program of the Special Initiative Training and Jobs and implemented with sequa.
