As part of the trip, six Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) were visited in six different Indian states. The FPOs produce spices, coffee, turmeric, various types of rice, millet and Waigaon turmeric, among other things.
During the visits, initial recommendations have already been made on how to improve export potential. sequa is proud that two of the companies visited will present their products as exhibitors at the joint stand of sequa, IPD and GIZ at BIOFACH 2024 (13-17 February 2024 in Nuremberg) and will benefit from professional matchmaking with European buyers.
The other four companies will be at BIOFACH as visitors as part of the Export Market Orientation Mission and will use the trade fair to familiarise themselves with the European organic market and conduct market research so that they can adapt their products and sales strategies to this important export market in the future if necessary.
