Mongolia: KVP project contributed to significant value creation

A report on the impacts and learning experiences

Quelle: sequa

The Business Membership Organisation Partnerships project (KVP project) between the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) and the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) made significant progress in the value creation of sea buckthorn and sheep's wool in selected regions from 2015 to 2021 by supporting cluster groups. The cluster approach and other models developed in the project have meanwhile been disseminated in the country. The project which is in Mongolia known under the name "ProValue" differs in some respects from other KVP projects. In order to pass on the experience gained, the former long-term expert of the project, Rolf Speit, documented the main impacts and learning experiences in a very informative report. The successful project was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
