sequa Mobility Programme 2020-2023

The objective of sequa’s mobility programme is the improvement and internationalisation of vocational education within Europe. It supports the mobility of trainees and professionals in vocational education. Throughout the project duration from 2020 to 2023, the project offers 935 slots for trainees and VET professionals. sequa, as the lead applicant, is responsible for the financial controlling and the coordination and steering of the programme in close cooperation with the partners. These are mostly chambers and associations. The consortium is responsible for the implementation of the programme. Roles, responsibilities and quality standards for this cooperation are determined in the “Quality Manual sequa Mobility” which is based on the quality standards for pool projects published by NABIBB. The target group for the mobility programme segments SINDBAD and TRANSDUAL are trainees and young professionals. SINDBAD supports study trips for apprentices of all pro-fessions; the study trips are mostly group activities of three to four weeks. The programme segment TRANSDUAL addresses trainees in commercial occupations and supports business language and skills training in France, the UK or Spain. Move-it (mobility of vocational educational institutions and trainers) enables individual professionals in vocational education to exchange work experiences and techniques with other professionals abroad.
