MIERA

Export-ready companies in the tourism and natural ingredients sectors are selected together with sector experts and prepared for participation in European trade fairs. During this preparatory phase, workshops, e-learnings and training sessions are held on the topics of market requirements and sales. During the trade fairs, the companies are presented to potential buyers in a targeted manner and accompanied during the follow-up. In addition to working with the companies, sequa offers train-the-trainer programmes for business support organisations (BSOs) in the sectors mentioned in order to build sustainable export promotion structures.

Project Target

The project goal is to develop capacities of exporting companies and to establish new business relationships between Malawian exporters and tourism providers and European buyers in the sector of tourism and natural ingredients. A second project goal is to develop capacities within Business Support Organisations for a sustainable deveopment of trade promotion services.
