The programme segment TRANSDUAL supports trainees, vocational school students, dual students, retrainees and young professionals in their first year after their examination in commercial professions who would like to do an internship in France, Spain or Ireland, which is organized as a group trip.

Which requirements do you have to fulfil?

To participate in TRANSDUAL, you should first and foremost be open to foreign cultures and lifestyles and have a desire to get to know everyday working life in France, Ireland or Spain.

You are

  • are at least 18 years old and work in the commercial sector,

  • have a German residence and a training company or employer within Germany,

  • have intermediate to good language skills in French, English or Spanish. These should ideally correspond to European competence level B1.

You are also

  • Trainee in a dual training program

  • Vocational student

  • Dual student with a registered training contract with a chamber of commerce

  • Retrainee

  • Graduates of all the above-mentioned training programs in the first year after the examination

LEARNING CONTENTSThe seminars impart the basic knowledge about the local economic and legal systems. In addition, participants can expand their language skills in occupation-specific case studies (presentations, negotiations etc.) that take the given cultural idiosyncrasies into account. Excursions and a varied social programme round off the seminar.
