In May 2018 the German technology company SOLprime Power Systems GmbH from Kiel started a develoPPP.de project in Argentina. The company produces photovoltaic mounting systems for all dimensions of solar power plants. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via sequa and runs for two years.

The aim of the project is to establish a competence centre for photovoltaics and e-mobility at the University of UCASAL in Salta, Argentina, where practice-oriented trainings and consulting shall take place for students and specialists. The competence centre serves also as demonstration base for Argentinian decision-makers in the energy sector.

In November 2017, the medium-sized German clothing company “Naber Damen- und Brautmoden GmbH” launched a develoPPP.de project in Albania. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) funds the project for two years.

217 SiSo Computers Kenia

In September 2017, the Dutch company SiSo Computers B.V. launched a develoPPP.de project in Kenya. The project have a duration of two years and is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The objective of the project is to build a qualified digital education network in Kenya by creating and training of local commercial information and communication technology (ICT) service providers. The task of service providers is to support schools with regard to necessary IT equipment, suitable products (applications) for optimal educational results, internet access and hardware recycling.

227 Burkina Faso Laboratoires

In March 2018, the French cosmetics company Laboratoires M&L launched a develoPPP.de project in Burkina Faso. Laboratoires M&L is a French subsidiary of L'OCCITANE International SA and is responsible for the manufacturing of products under the "L'Occitane" and "Melvita" brands.

The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via sequa and runs for two years.

218 China KIT

In September 2018, KIT gGmbH (International Department of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) launched a develoPPP.de project in China. KIT organises English-language training and further education programs in Germany. Thematically, the focus is on technology topics.

The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via sequa and runs until May 2020.
