In November 2017, the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) and the Euro-Mediterranean-Arab Association (EMA) started a partnership project with three Morrocan associations: the Association of Purchasers (AMCA), the Association of Automotive Industry (AMICA) and the Association of Exporters (ASMEX).

In the frame of the project, BME and EMA will strengthen the partner associations’ competencies in purchasing, supply chain management and logistics as well as in developing of new services in these areas.

Moroccan small and medium-sized enterprises  (SME) as a final target group can benefit from it by improving their integration into international supply chains and becoming more successful and efficient in their export businesses. The target sectors are automotive, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.sein.

SMEDA is a part of the GIZ program Private Sector Development and Vocational Training in South Caucasus (PSD + TVET SC) in Armenia in 2018. sequa participates in it with a component aiming at improving the dialogue between business associations with governmental agencies, further on at building up a cluster of precision engineering industry.

With support of experts from Germany and other European countries, trainings and coachings are implemented in Armenia through which selected Business Membership Organisations (BMOs) are qualified in key issues of the field interest representation for local SMEs.

For the client German Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, sequa supports four vocational schools in Bosnia-Herzegovina with expert know-how from 2017 until December 2018.

The training at these vocational schools shall become more practice-oriented and more orientated towards market needs.

Best Bake Technology Centre B.V. - established in 2008 in the Netherlands - produces and sells enzyme-based micro ingredients for the industrial bakery sector. Bakery Initiatives B.V., another Dutch company, advises bakeries on their equipment, machines, processes and their staff to increase the quality of their products and their productivity.

Within a project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via sequa, which began in October 2017, the two companies plan to introduce vocational training courses for bakers from micro, small and medium sized (MSME) bakeries, in a cooperation with the Nigerian education providers Amena Academy and Honeywell Bakery School. The objective is to increase the product quality, productivity and profitability of MSME bakeries in Nigeria.
