213 Nigeria Solar 23

SOLAR23 is an EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) supplier of turnkey solar solutions, specifically for grid-connected and off-grid solar power solutions (photovoltaic) and for solar systems for water heating (solar thermal). For the implementation of the project, SOLAR23 will form a consortium with OneShore, a globally active specialist in the conceptualization of PV-diesel hybrid systems, and with SOLARMATE ENGINEERING Ltd., a Nigerian company focusing on design, supply, installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems for various private and public sector institutions.

In the framework of a project, which began in June 2017, specialists in the energy sector and training providers in Nigeria will be trained on energy efficiency, energy audits and solar supply technologies. The trainngs will enable them to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as social institutions (e.g. schools, hospitals, health centers) in identifying and implementing solutions for energy saving and the increased use of renewable energies.
